Tom will be headlining Australia’s most famous jazz club Foundry 616. Tom again joins his quartet of wonderful Sydney musicians to bring a night of original music and classic jazz.

Joining fabulous Queensland pianist, Tommy See Poy and his quartet. At the Tropic Jazz Club, The Barrier Reef Hotel, Cairns.
Tom will be working with Saxophone and Composition students at the University of Western Australia for several days. He will be talking about his work, his methods, his research and sharing his incites with students in the Department of Music.
Public workshop. Hosted by Metro Big Band, Tom will be running a coaching workshop on jazz playing, improvisation skills and musicianship for all ages/abilities.
A late session at Perth’s lively cabaret style jazz club Ellington’s. A mixture of original and well known jazz material with a brilliant local rhythm section.

Collaborating with local bassist, band leader and composer Alistair Peel, Tom will be showcasing original material from them both in a special afternoon performance at Lyric Underground. A thriving area of the city with a great music scene, Lyric will be the final gig of Tom’s stay, so expect a high energy celebration on stage to say goodbye to Australia in style!
